04 no start

ok I bought a 2004 6.0 that didn't start he had it at some little shop in the middle of no where they couldn't get it running so I got it for next to nothing. heres what I know was not building hpo put air to the system and found the rail and 2 injector seals leaking on the drivers side badly I fixed that new seals and retest no leaks now so put it back tighter and tried to fire it up and still not making hpo rechecked for leaks still no leaks I have low side oil pressure full the oil filter when cranking it was cranking very slow put new batterys in it and a starter.. but im thinking a hpop now was going to pull the turbo off and the cover and see what going on see if I have a sct fitting leaking and did updated stand and dummy plug on the drivers side as well. just wondering what any buddys thoughts are on this thanks

You do not have the troublsesome STC fitting. Could you post ICP pressure, voltage and IPR duty cycle data while cranking?

2004 model had the old hpop. It will fail. It's just a matter of when. That could be you problem.

Do you have any gauges to read data? Check the icp and ipr before going to the hpop.

Unplug icp and see if it runs.

Late 2004 models have stand pipes and dummy plugs. Is your icp on the passenger side valve cover? If so, it's a late 2004 model. There are two versions of the late 04. The glow plug control module was rotated 90 degrees between the late 04 and the late late 04. I don't remember what part is different between the two.

Great to hear you got it going. I love running across deals like that.

Can you do the rest of us a favor. With all that money you saved on the truck, can you buy some periods and place them in the appropriate places in your posts? It would really help.

I hope you don't mind a little humor at your expense.
