Tailgate window - all the way down
i feel like an idiot. I can't figure out "what is supposed to happen" when the tailgate window gets almost all the way down. (1995 Bronco). on the passenger side where the regulator holds onto the window w/ two bolts/nuts, the bolt and nut sticks up into the air (1/2") and hits this rounded lump of metal that covers the torsion bar, and it forces the window towards the rear of the tailgate somewhat, seemingly bending the window just a little bit. the motor strains when this happens. the window goes all the way down after bypassing this metal lump, but I'm having trouble figuring out why it's even there in the 1st place. the driver's side doesn't have that. Is the rounded lump of metal covering the torsion bar supposed to *force* the nuts out of the way, and is necessary or is it about to crack my window?
