Misfire on engine question.

Hi all,

Friday I will be replacing my coil packs and spark plugs on my F150. It's a 4.6 V8.. So here is my question, I have a lisle tool and a otc tool to basically prevent, and if it does happen to break I can still remove it.
Whenever I replace my spark plugs do I need to worry about them breaking again? I'm using
Amazon.com: Bosch (6701) Bosch Original Equipment Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plug, (Pack of 1): Automotive Amazon.com: Bosch (6701) Bosch Original Equipment Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plug, (Pack of 1): Automotive

Just wondering cause I will be returning my tools after the jobs complete. I'm hoping this fixes my misfire..

The truck has 280k so it's been good to me.

Thanks,

Just take it slow and don't force them. Don't hammer on them or anything either. You want nice consistent torque the whole time.

Not sure why you got the lisle tool?

You don't have to worry about spark plugs breaking on a 4.6 2 valve. They don't have a 2 piece plug like the 3 valve 5.4 does. No need for the Lisle extractor tool.
