Spark Plug Tool
I own a 1999 Ford F-250 and a 2003 Ford Expedition both have the 5.4 Triton engine I wanted to change spark plugs, I hesitate doing this job because the stories I've read about plugs breaking. Will this Spark Plug Tool work on these 2 vechicles.

The 2V modulars were not known for having issues with the plugs breaking. The 3V modulars from 04' to 08' had the long spark plugs that would sometimes break during removal.
You can get a magnetic socket/extension set that makes removing and installing the plugs easier. I have a set. and it works well.

I just changed my plugs yesterday on my 01 F250, 5.4. The spark plug socket I used has a piece of foam or rubber inside of it, and it held the plug just fine, both in removal and installation. All of my plugs came out just fine. I did use the anti-seize on the new plugs. I couldn't find my torque wrench, so I did not use one on the install. I am hoping for the best, but if the truck pukes up a plug, I'm sure I will be here crying the blues. Take your time when you do it. Good luck.
