Glove box liner installation

Any tricks to installing the lower 3 bolts of the liner to the glove box? With the liner installed there is no way to get behind the liner to install the nut. I'm thinking of taking some flat bar and sandwich the the liner. This way I could use sheet metal screws I'm thinking. Or rivet it in but the cardboard would tear. I think I'm missing a piece or something.

Makes sense yet from the online catalog I didn't notice or see clips. Why sell the box but not the nut plate? Crazy!
Thanks for the sanity check!

I pop-riveted some aluminum over the holes and then used metal screws.
It worked very well and is very secure... just another simple job that turned into a "project".

That's funny you said that because everything I do on this truck turns into a project! Some thjngs I've done before (u-joints, carb, brakes, etc). But there are A LOT of new projects that I was a first timer on. My next 53 things will run smoother. Oh wait, that ain't happening. 1 is enough by way of the wife...buzz kill
