top coating POR-15

DO NOT LET IT CURE. Once cured, you would need to use their tie coat primer to bite into it then you would have to top coat the primer. Save your time and money and just put your topcoat on like another coat of POR15

Also, Iy are going to HATE brushing it on a truck frame. It is going to take FOREVER(like a whole weekend) and will not be as good as a job as spraying it

I should have mentioned I am probably only doing everything behind the cab when I get the bed off for body work, not the entire frame.
I'll think about spraying it on if I can. I have access to an air compressor, though not sure if it is enough to run a spray gun(never used one before). It's a 5.5HP Emglo that we use for construction.
If I can spray it on, how much do I need to thin it?

+2 for spraying it.
I've brushed 1 frame already and it was a pain to know what was covered already after the first coat went on.
That was the deciding factor for spraying mine. That and how quick spraying is. I had 2 coats of Chassis Saver and 2 coats of top coat on in a day. Brushing took a weekend.
Both cases the frames were stripped.

Thanks for all the help.
I need to set a day over at the body shop to get the bed off, and then I will make a new thread when I get started.
