From what I have heard Texas is a good place to look, but with the oil boom in the Dakotas/Colorado might look there also. (beds removed to make flatbeds)
I found some new takeoffs, but going to see what i can find in the same style.
Bed bolts shouldnt be a problem, we had this bed off last year to do the cab corners. Put back new bolts. Thats when i saw how badl rusted the rails were, and some rust is starting to show in the fender wells now. so, before i invest more into this bed i am going to try and find a good replacement.
Hi Tom nice job on the pickup bed. What did you use ti spray the Frame of the truck? I Have a 01 350 dually the bed is in good shape just the rails are bad Thanks Bob

I think it was Rustoleum "Rust converter" followed by regular "Industrial Strength" Rustoleum. (The big silver cans)
Use a mask with that rust converter....the fumes are wicked.
I used a 2014 new take off on mine. My original 99 bed had 6 bolts the new one has eight. The holes are already in the frame for the two extra bolts. I didn't have to lengthen my fuel hoses, they fit as they were. I used chassis saver and 3m body shutz on my new bed.
