liquid wrench don't work as well as pb blaster. pb blaster works all the time, and heat helps too.

x2 to what Dom said. Also, a cheap 6-PT socket and some JB Weld works wonders. JB the socket on the bolt head and let it set up while the PB Blaster soaks in. Tinker elsewhere to occupy yourself while it's all working.

The JB's socket is the only way we got the turbo out of my friend's 250.

Well my fix to this is .....

I made an appointment for Wednesday with the local Super Duty Shop. Guy seems to be knowledgeable and highly recommended. I provide all the parts and he gets 875 for his time.

Turn around time is 6 hours.

Make sure you know what he will cover if
there are problems after the job.

I got the truck back tonight!

I hate driving anything else after driving a Powerstroke Ford!

Oil/Water deltas are 6 Degrees apart. I think it is time for a T-stat though because I am seeing 184-188. It hit 190 for a brief moment. I just put one in last year at this time!

Sean as far as what he covers is workmanship. Since I used all Ford parts "IF" there is a part failure, he will make sure that labor is reimbursed through FORD.

Good to hear that.
I still am seeing very nice temps with
the T-stat I got from IH this last spring.

Right now I am doing the updates for my tuner.
They are incremental so I get to spend a bit of
time letting it do each one. I have two years of
updates to catch up on.

The shop owner is an SCT dealer/tuner. He updated mine for me.
