Isn't the '94 stock with the 3G?

oh right.mid year '92 the idi got the updated serpentine belt system and 3g alternator.so if he has an early '92 that explains his question i suppose.

That's the only thing that comes to mind. I know the serp thing happened in '92, but wasn't sure if the 3G happened at the same time. My v-belt '92 still had the old alternator.

Google is a good place to get wiring diagrams temporarily. Just punch in the one you need. Then click images on the tool bar.

well the reason i ask is i have an 89 motor, that i updated to the 94 motor harness and then updated the entire under hood harness to a 94 idi but its the turbo harness. the 89 motor is not turbo. I have a 92 dashboard and wiring harness inside the truck. I have no power to the cluster and the ignition only powers the fss. i can jump it at the solenoid and will run, but not from the key. none of the cluster works.

As for the bulkhead, im talking about the c202 connector that goes through the firewall and connects the underhood harness to the interior dash harness.

And ive been cruising google for 2 months trying to get it figured out. ive been on ebscohost, bought the evtm, looked at anything and everything i could find that even closely resembled what i needed. Needless to say ive learned allot about the idi, but not the information i need.... ive seen some people that have pm'd that connector pinout but its not public.

I'm guessing that you no longer have your 92 under hood harness

go to a junkyard, find anther 92 harness, either install it or take it a part to figure out your own diagram.
Did you change the power distribution box with the harness?

Yes i changed the distribution box. And i would gladly try to get a 92 harness but unfortunately no one local has one. Neither does craigslist or fleabay.
