Yep, just bought some today. Haven't looked yet to see how hard/how long it will take to get my $20 rebate. Most rebates make you jump through hoops.

Yeah, they ARE a pain.......a lot of times they are a way for your address and phone number to get on the "SPAM-train" and the rebates are frequently a debit card that is a pain to use......

I hate'em!

Just have a relative from a different address send it in for you. Of course they're going to want their cut.

As much as I like MONEY and I really do. It's not
worth $10 to get some prepaid debit card and the
bucket of spam that goes with it.

That is if the card even shows up.

Yep. I think I've done it once and still never got anything back myself.

All the T-6 bottles at the local Chinamart here had been opened on the shelf and anything inside the cap removed. Isn't there supposed to be some proof of purchase there?

The problem with purchasing oil that the container has been opened is how do you know that there really is T6 oil in the container, and not some El Cheapo oil.

I think most of the rednecks around here wouldn't know what to do with $21 oil lol. Heck at most my wally world only keeps 4 or 5 gallons on th3 shelf at any given time. So far never have have seen one opened.

I don't think there's any proof of purchase under the cap, on the gallon jugs. Additionally, I believe the T6 gallons are foil sealed iirc. I have always received by rebates from shell, and they have always been a check.

The gallons I bought yesterday weren't foil sealed. I also noticed that each was a shade under the 4qt mark on the side.
