So the other day one of my neighbors smashed my driver side mirror on my 2013 F150 STX and didn't leave a note (I'm pretty sure i know who it is, but that's another story) so I'm stuck having to fix it out of pocket. I called the dealership and they said it'd be ~500 to replace, so I'm looking at replacing it myself. From what I can tell, the tabs aren't broken, just the glass and the part where the glass attached and pivoted on the backing. I wanted to see if anyone could direct me to where I can find the part number for just the glass and backing so that I can just replace it myself. I did find this on amazon : but I wasn't sure if it's the proper size. It doesn't have the rounded mirror in the corner, but I can grab one of the sticker ones to put on.

Edit: The mirror itself is the unheated, no signal type of with the electric power controls.

 

Your local Auto Glass Shop probably can make a new mirror for you. We had one done for a car, it was about $40 installed.

 

i used one of them aftermarket just the glass one from a local store, the glass fell off its mount in less then a year and smashed all over the road.
