Since your payload is G-14 classified, I would just recommend having a dedicated tow rig. I would rather have a tow rig and a separate vehicle, than have to worry about my tranny going out while towing a heavy load.
In case you missed it, my first sentence was a Chris Tucker/Rush Hour reference.

I put in a 12" circle-d and it worked great for my applications. During the fall I will pull a JD 2700 ripper for 20 miles from field to field, and I have never had a problem and have never had to rebuild. However, I am being careful by driving an appropriate speed and watching my temp gauge. Mine does get warm because I am also running 3.55's and no aftermarket cooler. I am just uber-careful about not over-doing it.
