Since your payload is G-14 classified, I would just recommend having a dedicated tow rig. I would rather have a tow rig and a separate vehicle, than have to worry about my tranny going out while towing a heavy load.

In case you missed it, my first sentence was a Chris Tucker/Rush Hour reference.

New tranny guy looked over what I have, Said the the converter was very good for a passenger car Other parts were second rate was surprised it made it this long so it was not the transmission but the re builder.
Thanks for everyones input.

Converters were a weak point for E4ODs. There are a few guys who make good E4OD converters. Do some research, and make sure your new guy is using good parts.

I put in a 12" circle-d and it worked great for my applications. During the fall I will pull a JD 2700 ripper for 20 miles from field to field, and I have never had a problem and have never had to rebuild. However, I am being careful by driving an appropriate speed and watching my temp gauge. Mine does get warm because I am also running 3.55's and no aftermarket cooler. I am just uber-careful about not over-doing it.
