Dumb Question?

Don't know if this has been covered yet, I hafta replace a bulb for my front right signal, to do that it looks like I hafta take the battery out, what I would like to know is, will it reset the data on the computer? by this I mean on my Trip A, I have not reset it since I bought the truck so I could keep track of mpg, total fuel used and total hours running, so if I disconnect the battery will I lose this info?
Thanx

no reason to remove the battery to change a bulb. you can change out the turn signal bulb by loosening the rubber covers and do it from the side. Or you can remove the 3 bolts holding the headlight in and pop it out...easy as pie.

Yep, no need to remove a battery.
Per manual (and Russ!) remove the three bolts that retain the headlight housing. Two on top and one on the side near the radiator support. Once those three bolts are out (they are 10mm if my memory is correct) the headlight assembly comes straight forward, towards your body, as you're standing in front of the truck. There is a clip on the outer edge...pull straight to your body.
Change the bulb, rinse and repeat for the install of the assembly.
