After liking the Silverstars soo much in the fogs I want to put them in the headlights. What is the easiest way to access the drivers' side headlight bulb?
I can't figure out how to get that cover off the battery to remove it to get to the bulb??? I tried to pry where the little clip signs are but it seemed like something was hanging up, unless I was prying the wrong way??
I got mine changed without moving anything - but it wasn't fun. If you don't have small hands (I don't) find someone who does and get them to help you!! I got the passenger side but my wife helped with the driver's side. NICE! Sounds like a big pain to move the air box and battery just for light bulb!
I did the upgrade that you are talking about and I still have the marks on my hands to prove it. The battery side was easy for me. I have big hands but was able to get a good enough grip on it. The drivers side was another story. I could not get a grip on it at all. I had my wife try and she couldn't either. I ended up taking the bolts out of the evaporative canister to move it so I could get my hand on the bulb.
I have a gasser so it may be different for you. No easy way for me.......
I say we take that design engineer out back and teach him/her a lesson....
