Dealing With Surface Frame Rust?

Dealing With Surface Frame Rust?
Hi all, I am looking to remove the surface rust from the frame of my 93 F150. For the rear of truck I'm going to pull the bed off then clean up the frame and coat it with the rust inhibitor, followed by an undercoating of some sort. My question is... what to do with the front half of the frame, under the cab? Do I simply clean it up as much as possible? Or is it possible to lift the cab slightly to get better access to the top of the frame?
The body is relatively rust free, and the rust on the frame seams to be surface only. I want to arrest it before it goes much further. Any suggestions? There are a few photos below of the current condition.
Thanks!

Nice truck by the way, when I cleaned my frame up, my bed was already removed so I had easy access to the back half of the frame. I used a wire brush and scrubbed away! It was a real pain but it was worth it. I wire brushed it then blew it off with an air gun. that was my way, as for the cab area, I didn't touch much of it mostly because It didn't look all that bad, but if you were to do it, lifting the cab will be a job even if only for a couple inches, so many things are attached to it. If it were me I would clean it up as best as possible without lifting the cab, unless you want a fully painted chasis. Watch out for brake and gas lines when wirebrushing and wear saftey glasses! especially when your underneath it, man the rust gets everywhere. Good luck!

Thanks man, I've got some big plans for this truck! There's a pic below of it all cleaned up.
I'll probably do as you did, pull the bed and wire brush the frame. I'm rebuilding the front end next weekend, bearings, ball joints etc, so I guess I'll tackle what I can while it's all apart.
Cheers!
