There are three ABS sensors on Excursions, right?

One for each of the front wheels and one on the ring gear in the differential for the rear.

Does anyone know how many pulses per revolution the tone rings are supposed to generate?

 

Which year Excursion?

 

Did they differ between years?
2000 and 2002

 

For the front hubs, here is a exposed tone ring from a Spyntek Super Duty spindle. Just count the teeth. (All Excursions have the same ABS tone ring pulse rates)

You can do the same thing for the rear tone ring: (from Randy's Ring and Pinion: sterling 10.5 rear)

 

Looking up the axle on Randy's Ring and Pinion, they use a stock photo and say that "Image may differ from actual part"
