I noticed this the other day I was coming home from a family members house and I was stuck behind a lady on her phone and going 10 under the 55 mph speed limit haha. I went to pass and put my foot in the throttle and the truck throttled up like normal but when it got to the point were it should have to shift the whole truck started bucking and I had to take my foot off the throttle for it to shift so I could get back into it again. The trans was rebuild by ford sometime in its life but The p/o couldn't tell me when. I don't beat on my truck so it took me a while to notice this but is it a sign of impending trans doom?

 

Does the OD OFF light work when you press the button on the end of the shift handle? Does the light flash? Has it flashed before?

 

It's never flashed that I know of and yes the button works. And it does it with the OD off light on and off.

 

Since you have E-fuel you might be loosing fuel pressure when getting on it. Did you do the conversion, a kit or? When was the last time the fuel filters were changed?

 

It holds the pressure and the rpm and the engine never shutters it's running strong. The filters were changed 2k miles ago. The pump is a year old SD pump.
