If you have bar on there that are mounted correctly you should have almost nill for hop. I have a feeling your mounting point is not secure, or is incorrect. Ladder bars should be rigid to the axle, not sure why yours are to the spring, mind posting up a pic?

Those traction bars are not meant for a lift like you have. The upper pivot is SO FAR from the axle center line it's ridiculous, they will never work correctly and will always allow a lot of movement by the axle.
With a lifted truck like yours you need to grab the axle as to close to it's center line as possible, usually just below.
The Premium way is with a set of Caltracs, but I don't think that's the best bet with 5" blocks.
You can also buy or build a set of long bars from under the axle to the frame (about 6' long or so), mounted at the frame with a shackle.
