Brake issue

I have a 2000 SCrew KR F150. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the brake pedal was slowly going to the floor while at a red light. I pulled over and popped the hood checked the fluid reservoir. It was full, so obviously no wheel cylinder issues or fluid loss. Any suggestions? I haven't had a chance to tear into it yet.

I appreciate the help guys, I am new to the 150s. Just trying to learn all that I can before I go rip-snorting into it. With an ABS problem wouldn't the light be on?

More than likely (as the other guys said) it's an internal leak in the master cylinder. So far *knock on laminate covered particle board* I haven't had problems with either of mine.

Is the only fix for that to replace the master cylinder?

Would this also cause the ABS dash light to come on?

My brake pedal has been doing this for some time. I assumed it was air in the lines and just needed bled, but now the ABS light is on continually.

Hmm, common problem, eh? Maybe that's why my 98 does that? So if it is the master cylinder, it would not brake well at all, even if you put hard pressure on the peddle, would it?
