'78 Bronco won't start
Moved my '78 Bronco from the west coast to east and found new problems. It died while driving and had to have it towed home- found that my spark plugs and wires needed to be replaced, went ahead and replaced the fuel pump as well thinking it was only a spark/fuel issue, but it was still weak. Found that my battery was dead, replaced that. It started for about a minute or two then died, and since then won't crank at all. No longer have a spark problem but something with the battery or charging system. Not so great with diagnostics and just trying to get it started so I can ship it back west. Outside of the alternator is corroded, and I'm not sure where to go from here.

Try removing ALL the Battery cables, starter cable, ground cables and wire brush all the connections so you have good contact. If the cables are really old just replace them. Lots of people will throw new starters, relay, battery, coil, etc etc. Spend $200 snd still have same problem. Why not spend less than $100 and replace something that is almost always neglected, forgotten and is a real wear item. Looks great on the outside. Wore out inside.
