Enjoyed the ride.

Well, I came across a deal that I couldn't pass up today. I found a 2007 F250 diesel with lower mileage and a great price. My payments are lower than the V10 and it has about 40k less miles. I enjoyed my V10 and never had a bit of problem with it. Thank you to all of those who helped me in the past with the questions I have had. See ya'll on the boards!

Congratulations on the new truck and good luck with the 6.0 (you may need it).

Yep, your new friend will be the Ford mechanic nearest to you. But, you will have better mileage and a little more power, but at what cost? Oh well, good luck, for sure.

Last pic I saw of your 6.0 the hood was popped and there was a stack of junk oil coolers near by.

Glad your trying to stay positive Miles. However your probably not the best guy to welcome him to a 6.0 since you just got yours back from being with a mechanic for the last 3 months.

4wydnr- May not be 100% accurate however on the right track.

Hope you enjoy your new truck OP.

Right. Because 6.0s are the only vehicles on the road with wires and electronic throttle pedals. Ok

Thanks for all of the comments. I didn't want this to degenerate into a 6.0 vs. V10 thread. While I understand the 6.0 has it's share of problems, it's nothing that I don't feel I can overcome. And yes Pappy, I have a really good non-Ford mechanic that I can count on for anything I can't do myself (Still want us to meet up at Bill's).
