Quiet around here when Bob and Chris are on the road.

This forum has been rather boring the last 2 or 3 days.... Do we all have our trucks fixed up with no problems or has it been too cold in much of the country?

Or perhaps this is the common denominator: Bob and Chris, two prolific writers, thread starters, posters, and general pot stirrers are on the road.

Can't wait for them to get back cause I am bored....

'Tis kind of quiet. Went up to Roanoke last week and picked up 2 nice front fenders for my 54 plus a "grab box" of items. It was at a wood millwork company that was celebrating there 100th aniv. They restored a 53 F200 and made a wooden flat bed and running boards. Finished just in time for the Christmas parade.

Cold - Below Zero cold - Wind chill in the teens below zero - The dog doesn't want to go out

120.6 inches of snow this year - That's the most snow for a city over 100,000 in the United States

I am in Austin TX and the truck is home in NY, so impossible to get anything done and cant wait to get back. Still two feet on the ground at home and more coming on the way, at this rate I wont be able to get the truck out of the garage even if it is done!

I was on the road from Sunday afternoon until Wednesday evening. I did manage to sneak out of the office early today and get some good truck time in.

Well, I've been back home for a day now. I had to do a family event yesterday so didn't have time until now to post much.

Any how, I see it as sad state of affairs if this board depends on me to add life to it. I'm about the most boring person you will find. Now Chris, well he's an entirely different story...............

Bob,
we needed your photoshopping skills in Keith's firetruck thread (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...heetmetal.html)

I tried my hand but I'm just not up to the task. I think sunny Florida is making Keith's brain fuzzy and he's wanting to either go the dub route with super ginormous wheels or the other direction and drop the old truck to the ground

Bobby
