Its tight but is accessible without removing anything. A 36mm socket (same as top) to remove cap

I recommend running power service diesel supplement. Gray bottled during warmer months and white during freezing months.

Actually had poured power service in on top of full tank of fuel and drove to work. Warmed truck up before I left work and then she laid down on me. It was -11 yesterday. Thanks for the reply

After mine gelled today- I put a 32 oz bottle (911) in the 6.4L, started it up and it ran but with check engine light. put in some fresh fuel and within a mile the engine light turned off an it seems to be running all happy again. Thank 911 and a 32* rise in temps to 22*F.

Be careful using 911! If there is any water in the system it will send it straight through the fuel system and through the separator and damage the fuel system. 911 was intended for trucks older than the ones we have. It was not made for our trucks. It contains alcohol and is an emulsifier. Contact Senix and he can give you the info on it.

+1 911 is fine for low pressure injector pump diesels.
