Oh gotcha. Guess I'll be making my own "kit" when I get stateside then.. The diesel world is a small one, guys can't work like that..
Although when I get stateside and start buying parts one at a time, I'll probably spend even more money due to the lack of sticker shock lol

Thats a good choice IMO.
If you shop around/get lucky you will be able to find different kits on sale. If you arent in any rush I bet you could buy everything that is in that kit and still save close to what they were estimating.

Or piece stuff together DIY style.

Yeah and I'll probably try making some homemade headers, getting a cam, doing this thing right the first time. I want to build the truck the engine is going into first anyways..

There was a discussion about headers on here a while back. From what I recall from it was that there is nothing to gain with headers, unless you just want them for looks. If there are no HP gains though, I wouldn't bother with them. And the guy I mentioned before that made 714 HP......that was on a 212,000 mile stock bottom end, so there may not be much to gain with a cam either.

I'll be honest, I only want headers for the sound and the challange of making them.

LOL! I can relate to the challenge of building them! But, they aren't gonna do anything for sound. The exhaust leaves them and is run through the exhaust housing of the turbo, which has a turbine in it, and then goes out and through the down pipe into the exhaust. About the only place you can change the sound of the exhaust is after it leaves the turbo. Most of us delete the cat and muffler and straight pipe them, some use a flow through performance muffler. That's about it on the options for sound.
