I'm about sick of my white smoke during exhaust cleaning...
Well I fumigated the hwy a few days ago. I thought that the re-program a few years back was suppose to take care of the white smoke..once I had mine done I would see very little white smoke when in cleaning mode..now 6 years later, it smoked yesterday worse than it has ever had. weather was cold out and I have been driving short trips lately..30k on truck now...does anyone think there is a problem again or do we all just live with the fumigation unless we do the DPF delete..love my truck but its pretty embarrassing when it happens...bad *** truck smoking down the road like its gonna blow up...I have not noticed the 6.7 doing this, do they?

DO you have the latest PCM flash? Does the smoke have a strong eye watering odor? (indicating unburnt fuel) Another issue is humidity and rain which i have posted a TSB: related to that

White smoke only appears during a moderate to heavy tip-in that is performed after a period of steady state driving (approximately 20 minutes)

Yes I think I have the most recent PCM flash...it was not humid out but pretty cold...it only happens during regeneration, cleaning exhaust...prior to the re-flash it smoked all the time during re-gen..after new flash all was ok.. But yesterday it was like I had my original flash back cause it was tons of white smoke...
