I'm hoping someone reading this may be able to help me, Its starting to get pretty nippy here in Michigan so I have just started to use the heater again. Much to my chagrin i can only get hot air from the passenger side vents, nothing but cold from the drivers side. I have the dual temperature option and both sides are set to 90. I have seen a couple of other people with the same issue on this site, and have tried everything they have done to no avail. So if anyone can suggest something for me to do I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

 

sounds like your blend door is stuck or not actuating. Dealer likely would have to tear the dash apart to debug unless you are so inclined? Good luck...last one I had diagnosed, they wanted over $1000.00, so we decided to jack up the keys and slip a new truck underneath. ;-)

 

I had this problem with my jeep, but I just taped the doors in place with metal tape, depending on the season.

Check out heatertreater.net they will have parts to fix it. They replace the plastic door with a metal one.

Or get a shop to do it for around $800-$1000 or the dealership....hahaha They wanted $600 just for two blend doors and axles, and they were plastic.
