Hpop (fuel?) leak

My dad's 02 excursion has a leak coming out of the drivers side hose of the high pressure oil pump. The leak is diesel fuel, I was under the impression that the hpop doesn't deal with fuel at all. Any input on this?

There are 2 hoses coming out of the HPOP on the drivers side of the pump. One goes to the passengerside head, the other to the driver side head. Both carry oil.
Can you post a pic of the leaker?

The Fuel Pressure Regulator is on the drivers side of the Fuel bowl. There should be two fuel lines hooked up to it. The top line is the return and the bottom is the feed. Is it possible this is the source of the leak?

Ok I feel much better. I thought I was going crazy, I just took another look. It looked like the hpop line but its actually the fuel line above it that was running down it making it seem like the hpop line.

probably a good time to rebuild the fuel bowl if you feel it needs it

Or you can just get the fuel sleeve for that fitting and be done with it.
easy fix. gotta love those

Bob treats us well and you can get what you need and not have to buy the whole kit that the dealer sells

http://www.dieselorings.com/

or Riffraff also has them too
