i am getting icp error 2 on my banks six gun and it idles rough sometime and sometimes it don't idle down all the way any ideas what could be be the problem

 

- Turn off/Sell the Banks
- Get the engine code
- Repair/Replace parts as necessary with OEM parts


Unplug the ICP sensor, if there is oil on the connector it needs to be replaced. Unplug it with the engine on. If the idle changes, the sensor is good. If it doesn't change, the sensor is bad.

Get a good scanner, pull the engine code, check ICP values.

 

If you unplug it the engine dies

 

Well thats an unexpected response. It shouldnt die. It should just run differently.

 

I see banks is not cared for what do u recommend

 

A TS style chip from a reputable tuner like Swamps, Gearhead, PHP, ect. Any of those will get you more power for less money.

 

I second those recommendations. You will find a PHP chip under my dash.
