Just installed Banks Power Pack w/o Ottomind in my 2003 Safari Trek 3011. Banks Power sent O2 sensor extensions with Type 1 connector.

Contacted Banks Power: They informed me to just clip off one of the "pegs" and should be good to go. Turns out I have type 3 connectors. I would need to clip both pegs in order for the new O2 sensor extension to fit the Banks extension cables.

Replied to Banks email that I have type 3 and if it is OK to clip both pegs as necessary as I have type 3 plugs? Still waiting.

O'Reilly ran scan showing neither O2 working. Might be old code from when disconnected during install? Waiting for my scanner to arrive in mail.

Are the Ford type 1,2,3 02 connectors all wired the same and removing the pegs work as Banks claims?
