Where to get cold idle advance sensor?

Anyone have a part number or know where to get the cold advance sensor that screws into the head? Mine is bad and figured I would install a new one when I change thermostats.

Can't help with the part number, but I found one at my local dealership when I had to replace mine a few years ago.

I think it's a Motorcraft SW2520, but not 100% sure.

A quick google search came up with this part # being a ford temperature "switch", which sounds like the ticket. Some sites call it a sensor, but most call it a switch. Here's an ebay add with diagram-- does it match the port you're looking for?:

I'm not sure the part number, but it went out on one of my trucks, so I installed a relay with a toggle switch, I'd suggest that if you can't find it.

Engine Temperature Switch

I've been on the hunt for an engine temperature switch. My truck wasn't coming down off of high idle after warming up. After unplugging the wire from the solenoid, the engine rpms would return back to normal (750).

The new style switch/sender from Motorcraft is DY-1145 9U212A648-A. It comes with a new pigtail, crimp connectors and heat shrink. The new switch/sender has bullet connectors instead of the spade connectors.

I'll install it tomorrow to see if it works. It cost $66.00 and change.
