Need a definitive answer Please....

Read alot of information here and else where about ficms 7 pin vs 4 pin exchange. My question is (I have a '03 6.0 born with a 7pin ficm with low voltage issues, I have a complete 4pin ficm from an '04 6.0 at my disposal) can I put the 4pin on my engine and the truck run with no problems? As I see it, this is a type of update as the 4 pins are more plentiful and or easily replaced.

Should not cause any big problems.
The one thing that may or may not show up
is a strategy mismatch. it will start and run
but my set a code. Only way to tell is to try.

Low voltage will only kill injectors. Make sure
that the batteries and charging system is in good shape.
