6.0 electrical issues

Working on my '04 6.0L and not sure where to go next.
I'm chasing down what I believe is at least partly an electrical problem.
Ive got codes P0265, 268, 274: Injector Circuit High on cyl 2, 3, 5.
And codes P0281, 284: Injector Circuit Contribution/Balance Fault on cyl 7 and 8. (maybe not electrical).
For the circuit high codes I began checking for shorts to ground, voltage, and between pins on the harness side injector conectors.
On cyl 2, 3, 5 I have 48V to ground on each of the #2 pins with KOEO. The injectors with no code had no voltage on their respective pins.
Can anyone tell me if this is indicating a problem with the FICM or injector wiring harness(some chafing noted in a few places) or am I missing something here.
Any advice/thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to FTE hoover747 Here is a link to our Tech Folder located at the top of the forum, scroll down to FICM articles if you have not done so.

A little history on the 04 model: You had engine wire harness chaffing issues, then Ford reflashed to the FICM killer that would warm the injectors to help with cold start issues. If you can read the strategy code, that will let you know what flash is in the truck. Just reading 48 volts at the FICM does not give you a green light the unit is good.

Any questions ask away, the fellows here will help in anyway possible.

If harness checks out the ficm appears to be the culprit. I'd bet on the ficm.

Thanks for the info, I did look over the 6.0 tech folder, full of good stuff. I didn't quite find what I was looking for but probably need to go through it some more.
So how do I read the strategy code? Is that something I can do with AE?

I'm not sure what to think of the harness, it is chafing in a few places but I don't know why I would be seeing the 48V on those 3 pins at the injector side of the harness that have the codes. Some of the things I have been reading point to the wiring harness, others point to the FICM. Not sure what to think.
