55 Ford C600 COE VIN number help please

My 54 is stamped near the passenger side Front Crossmember. I was looking for my VIN on my 56 Panel in the same location and figured it wasn't stamped but when cleaning the frame it was stamped in front of the front cab mount passenger side. Both were, as posted above, on the top of the frame rail.
Also, as posted else where on FTE, the true VIN is the one on the frame rail NOT the glove box plate. You can get the plate reproduced by several vendors.

Good point. I do have the title.
The reason the data plate replacement will help is US customs needs to verify the title to the vehicle in order to stamp it for export. (Truck in US, I am in Alberta). The alternative is trying to locate the VIN on the frame which is possibly an exercise in frustration.
