I need some insight
Just bought a 2011 CC pstroke f350 lariat ultimate 4x4 with 78k miles. Its got a 3.55 rear with the factory 20 inch wheels. My work truck a 2013 pstroke f350 cc 2x4 with a 3.31 rear. When hauling loads in similar weight 13k pounds my 2011 seems way under powered compared to the 2013. Ive only pulled a gooseneck trailer with the 2013 and have only pulled a tongue pull trailer (31ft boat) with the 2011. What can if do to get similar power without throwing aftermarket parts at it? And why is the power so diff? Thanks

First of all, the work truck is a lighter vehicle. 4WD adds a lot of weight to the truck.
Don't compare "similar weight" loads. It's apples and oranges. Loads are different and aerodynamics are different. With my trailer, I can make the load feel a lot heavier just by taking the tailgate off while towing, or forgetting to remove the bed cover.
The best way to judge which truck pulls better is to tow the same load with both trucks.

The work truck is a long bed and has a 36 gllon fuel tank so the weight cant be that far off. But i understand what your saying. Installing gooseneck in my 2011 soon so ill report back but i honestly dont think it will make a diff bc with no trailer or amy load the 2013 would flat out dust my 2011. Thanks for the help
