Tractor style exhaust.

Has anyone ever ran their exhaust pipe up, and in between the passenger door and the wheel well like a tractor. I just thought it would be fitting to the 300 to have a tractor looking exhaust with a flapper thingy. I just worry that it would be bad for my body panels.

Why not just straight up through the hood if you don't mind me asking. That would be hella tight

I don't want to have to cut holes in the body.

I would imagine your wheel clearance would be less than desired if you ran it out the wheel well though

You're going to have to cut into your body, then. Unless you've got something in mind that I'm missing. Do you have a photo that you can draw some arrows and circles on it and then share with us?

i think he means just running it along the side and then going straight up along the cab almost like a big rig. just runnning it straight up along the cab corner

That would make things easier, but he didn't say between which wheel well and the passenger door, so I assumed the front wheel because of the "tractor looking exhaust" (Which I assemed he meant a farm tractor). In any case, I'm sure he will clarify. On a side note, I've always liked how the Lil' Red Express Trucks looked!

I'm talking about the small area between the front wheel well and the passenger door. I am thinking if I turn the exhaust out right under the body panel there and then run it straight up from there.

I think you would run into issues with supporting your exhaust.

Well that sucks. Maybe I could just put a flapper thing on the end of the exhaust.

That flapper thing is called a rain cap. All it's there for is to keep rain from falling into the exhaust pipe.
