Like this pic of around the radio. How do you get to those 2 screws?
Exactly. Here's one of those screws, from the backside.

So Brad and I...

We can find common ground on this at least.

I can BS, plain and simple.

i bought a small 5 dollar ratchet from discount auto parts and stuck my hand in from the glove compartment opening or the gauge cluster opening (which both have to be removed anyways to take the dash off)

It can be done. Something has changed with photobucket, but I used to have some captions to go along with the pictures in the album. But, to get to that one, I removed two of the 4 bolts holding the big aluminum bracket on drivers side, then loosened the other two. Then remove the screw holding the bracket on the passenger side and pull that side of the dash forward. Then I stuck my arm back in there with a 1/4" ratchet, socket and 6" extension and unscrewed that screw. At this picture you might wonder why I didn't just pull the ducting and all. I simply didn't want to mess with disconnecting all the wiring that would be required to do that. Easy enough once I had that screw out to just push that dash back up and put the single screw back in the passenger side bracket to the firewall.

Exactly! Maybe you guys are not realizing what all that needs to be removed to pull only the skin. My dash looked like this before I even started trying to get the skin off. If you had the radio, HVAC controls, or glove box still in, no way.

I dont get it. Like I said. 40 Min to have the WHOLE dash out of the truck(heater controls, radio, etc still intact.)

I see how you got to the screws now, but WHY
