Failed resto attempt:

Have like $15,000 in her, including a rebuilt engine that jumped timing on me (I think). Does not run. If I don't get a good enough offer before the frost leaves the ground, I'll probably end up just parting her out.

What she's got:

Rebuilt 390 - .030 over, Pertronix distributor, ebrock carb (rebuilt), high flow ebrock cover, new crank, pistons, rings, bolts (the expensive ones), "street" balanced, new timing set and an absolutely beautiful paint job. Adjustable rockers.

Engine was broken in appropriately and ran for 12 hours or so before jumping timing in the middle of December.

New brake booster and PS pump.

34" Ground Hawg tires. Lightly worn.

Broken front (Dana 40) axle shaft has been removed, but the diff's are capped with Warn premium hubs in case you can locate a short-side axle shaft in some JY guarded by a Leprechaun.

Body is mostly shot except for the front fenders, which are pretty decent. Hood could be rescued. Cab could be restored with a lot of work since the mounts are still good. Tailgate is pretty good, too.

PM me with an offer and we can talk. If I don't get a good enough offer, I'll start parting her out.

Lots of other little stuff.

Have doc on many of the parts and improvements.

Tranny

NP435 - factory original. All the gears work fine, though I never really used the granny for very much.
NP205 divorced T-case, of course.

When I pulled the motor, I added back a new clutch kit, too.

I have an extra proportioning valve (not currently part of the truck). But the valve needs a some work: pretty rusty and it's got all that rubber inside, etc.

I'm not willing to part with the shift lever just yet. Want to be sure that I can't sell the whole thing first.
