97 F-250 low miles, want to trade for IDI diesel

Year: 1997
Make: Ford
Model: F-250
Price: $6500
Mileage: 103000
Color: Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NM
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
Color: Red
Engine: 351w / 5.8L

I recently inherited my dad's '97 Ford F-250 Heavy Duty XL. It has 103k miles and is in excellent shape. It really looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The only rough spots on the truck (and they're pretty minor) are where the cabover camper has rubbed the horizontal part of the truck bed.

It has the 351 Windsor (5.8 L), 4x4, 5-speed manual, extended cab, long bed, good set of tires and spare (75%+ remaining) and tailgate is in great shape. All the glass is good. and it has the tailgate. It has a CD player, and the air conditioning blows cold. Manual windows and locks.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this truck, at all. I just would prefer to have a diesel truck for hauling and towing, as I am more comfortable with diesels.

I'm willing to sell, but I'd prefer to do a straight-up trade, just swap titles, no cash involved.

The truck I want must have all these things:
- Diesel
- 4x4
- Extended cab or crew cab
- Long bed
- Automatic transmission preferred, but a 5-speed manual (no 4-speeds!) is ok
- Cruise control
- No mechanical problems whatsoever
- Good glass and tires (must have correct size spare and rim)
- Ready to take to the lake this weekend

A few dents and dings is no big deal. I place a much greater value on a truck being mechanically sound than on it looking nice. Of course, if I can have both, that's great.

As to engines, my preferences are (in order):
- Navistar 7.3L IDI factory turbo (the one just before the Powerstroke)
- Navistar 7.3L IDI with aftermarket turbo
- Cummins 12-valve
- 7.3 Powerstroke
- GM 6.5 turbo

Please contact me if you're interested in a beautiful gas truck. Thank you!
