Chip for sale

A guy not far from me has a DP tuner chip for sale with the switcher. I am concerned that it will not work on my truck and I will be out the 200 bucks he wants for it. Also I need to know if i can get different tunes for it since what he has on there now is not exactly what I am looking for. Can anyone offer me some guidance with this possible purchase?

You can send it back and have it reburnt to your PCM code.

Get your mirror and flashlight out and you can see your code off the bottom of the PCM.

I am driving ATM but someone will tell you where and how ASAP.

Yes, you will be able to use it. Is it an F5 or F6? You may have to send it back into us(F5) or have us send you new tunes(F6) if his PCM code is not the same as yours.

You will find all of the info you are looking for HERE.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

In the engine bay, just below the master cylinder there's a connector with a bolt holding it in place. The code is located on a sticker that's on the side of the plug facing the fender Here's a picture of the sticker you're looking for, it's the top code that's circled.

I'm in the process of bringing up a used F6 now, Jamie. The folks at DP are helping me through it, and it's pretty straightforward.

Mine seems not to have a sticker. Is it actually on the PCM anywhere? I think my harness has been changed at some point.

It should be right there. It might be on the little black plastic J3 port cover too.

If its an F5 and different PCM codes it would be stupid of you to buy it used. New there 200... And you'll be able to pick your tunes without having to send it in and pay for the shipping before you think about using it... Your call...
