Off road lights

I have been wanting to put some off road lights on my truck to aid in driving at night because the factory ones don't do we'll enough. I have been through one set they weren't bright enough. I have 2 sets on it right now I had to add another battery to it because 1 wouldn't hardly power them but they still aren't very bright. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem or know of a good brand of light that'll work and be really bright?

Should probably have posted this in a different forum but... I would not look in to a battery so much, but rather an alternator upgrade.

look in the tech articles for the "whiter whites, brighter brights" headlight upgrade.
