Need ideas on brake drum hub woes

I am working on rebuilding my 52 F-3 suspension with plans on upgrading the front brakes to the 8 bolt lug disk brake kit that is available through Street rod maunfacturing....Problem is the hub is rusted to the drum, I have been soaking it with PB blaster but doubt that I can get the three mounting screws loose with my hand impact driver. Anybody have ideas on how to get these apart? btw, the hub/drum is sitting on the bench as I have dis-assembled the front end (actually the whole truck is down to the frame)
Thanks for the input,
w

If I read this correctly the screws are frozen? If that is the case take a torch (propane/ map may work) and heat the screw until it is glowing red and remove. Once they are removed, if the drum still doesn't come off try heating where the hub comes thru the drum ( on the drum).

Good Luck,
Paul

I ended up drilling out the screws ...hubs camd off with a couple wacks....i thought those screws would have been hardened, but they weren't ....quite soft actually.

That's great! The screws were just to keep the drums from falling off on the assembly line, they don't really have a load on them.

I like using a gas wrench on any stuck bolt I find. Those hub bolts can be a bear, only second to the door bolts. I don't even waste time with soaking those, the torch comes out and a half hour later the door is off.
