A larger throttlebody is only good if you plan on stuffing more air into it, via forced induction. And even then, the stock Ford TB's flow pretty damn well.

So what can i gain from a performance tune?
Only mods, if you call it that, is K&N filter and magnaflow muffler.. not really for power gains, just wanted different sound from the truck and cut costs on replacement filters

thanks.

If you want a different sound to the truck get a muffler that you like and go with that. Probably best cost to gain ratio for what you are looking for.

Try to find a long tube header kit and slap a blower on it. I'm sure vortech makes one.

I would not classify CAI and catbacks in the same category as throttle body's. CAI and catbacks are proven to gain on these trucks with dyno numbers. Calling them snakeoil means you are ill-informed.

The "proven" power gains are not provided by third parties. Any articles written by third parties, with no vested interest have supported my snake oil claim. Therefore, it is you who are misinformed, gullible, or simply unwilling to accept the fact that you wasted several hundred dollars for some snake oil that just dirties your oil faster.

Whatever man, do some research. Throttle bodies are not needed, but to classify exhaust as snake oil something is wrong with you.

And if you actually did some research you would see that people are getting power gains with CAI and exhaust. But you can continue to believe that

Is your 2010 a 4.6?

Also dirtying my oil faster? What are you talking about? Are you stuck in the 80s?
