Upgraded to 2013
Upgraded my 2010 5.4 Regular Cab 4wd to a 2013 5.0l SuperCab 4wd. I opted for the STX package as I wanted the PTM scheme. I added just about every package I probably could have gone with an XLT I will post some pics as soon as its delivered, which should be this week. I already have plans to add heated seats and possibly a remote start. I have had bad experience with the remote starts in the past and wonder if there is a specific model or brand I should use.
I have been reading a lot of info on the Cold Air intakes and Exhaust modifications. I wonder if cold air really has any affect on these newer 5.0l as it will be my first experience with this motor. I imagine that ford has tuned these things pretty well with the current air intake system.

Got around to swapping out the factory stereo for something much better. Bought a JVC arsenal from Crutchfield and installed it this weekend along. Really brings the Infinity speakers alive. Took some time to adjust the levels so they sound fantastic. Only thing I dislike is the metra plastic dash piece to replace the factory one has quite a gab between the front of the aftermarket stereo and the trim. I will upload a picture to show what I mean.
All in all though it was really easy. Crutchfield support is fantastic. They recommended this PAC unit to keep my steering wheel controls and it just plugs right up to the factory stuff. No programming needed. Highly recommended upgrade if you're like me and have to have good tunes! Sub in the near future. Just not sure that I want to install it myself or have the pros do it. I've done a few in my time but it never looks as good as the guys here in town. They hide everything. Probably why it costs $180 for them to install the amp.
