A full 9 oz. here is exactly what short bed owners need and another 3 oz for a long bed and 15 oz. for the Excursions!(when they are empty of course)
Got rid of those things about 15 years ago..no way that is ending up in my house again.

In winter months, stations in northern areas which expect colder temps will receive diesel that is formulated for cold temps. If you are in a warm winter climate area and get an unexpected cold snap you are probably more at risk because the fuel in your truck is likely not a winter blend.

I dont drive my truck as often in the winter so I make sure I use additive since the truck may sit for up to a couple weeks. If I am driving the truck on a regular basis I dont worry about it.

The EPA regulates when Winter/Summer blends are sold. The gas stations must be pumping Summer blends by June 1 and must pump it until September 15. Since Winter blends are less expensive to refine, I guarantee stations are selling winter blends by September 16th.
