Your ultra low sulfur California diesel makes it even more important to run it in every tank. Plus, how does your adviser know that you will not get water with your next fuel up.
Your adviser it seems, needs advice.
I have been running Power Service Gray in every fuel up since the first 1,000 miles. Now at 24,000 +.
BTW my last tank was 17.11mpg and that was two 150mile trips pig hunting, which is in the hills and includes a night or driving around in 4wd.
As a little humorous side note: Be very, very careful while pig hunting at night. In the dark. Around closing time. Sometimes you might wind up with a coyote.
I use Stanadyne Performance Formula and Diesel Kleen grey alternating between fill-ups. I haven't noticed a difference between the two. I will probably go with Diesel Kleen mainly because it's readily available at Walmart.
BTW, where do hunt pigs bczolone? I go to Paso Robles, don't mean to hijack your thread with that.
I'm sorry if I'm not in the right forum, but I'm from Ontario Canada,I haul fuel for a living and they are going to start changing diesel over to the ultra low sulpher. Can you tell me if anything changes or not in using new diesel other than using additive.(as in milage, starting in cold weather, wear and tear on motor) Thank you for any help on this matter.
i havent noticed any difference in anything with additives, but was trying...
as for pigs I hunt on private land in the sierras (about 15000 acres) between two landowners...I also have a depridation permit allowing me to hunt at night with spot-lights etc....otherwise it'd be illegal to hunt at night.
Ive used RBP additive b4 I ever had any mods done to my truck, I remember feeling a difference with it. I ordered it online but ill be picking my truck up from ORU on thursday and they have some on display might grab another bottle to refresh my memory.

LOL what a coincidence eh? I hope its done on thursday, im leaving to vegas friday evening, without my truck im screwed. Tujunga cyn? you ever go to Azusa cyn? what are you getting done to your truck?
I'm very pleased with the Ford additive. I just started using it (my buddy says 1.5 mpg improvement), but I really notice how much quieter the engine is. The additive must really have a lubrication factor. Only $6 per bottle that treats 125 gallons of dino fuel. Ford and International engineers have endorsed it so no future warranty concerns.
