I've got a 2008 F250 crew cab short wheel base single rear wheel truck. It's got 166,000 miles on it and I just had the H&S Tuner installed along with the cat/dpf delete done. My question is, can I get a set of parameters from someone as to where to set the tuner up. As soon as I left the shop with it I punched it a couple of times and it went to the defueling mode and sucked the air filter guage into the yellow as well as exceeded the temp setting for something but right now can't remember what it was. I believe it was the water temp, seems like the defuel for that was set for 220 and in very small print on the display I think it said 232 degrees. So after calling the install shop and talking with them it was decided to just turn all the parameters off for now since I'm having them order me a cold air intake unit and we will set all that stuff up then. I'm not a speed freak although I must admit that it's an awesome ride in the "Hot Damn" mode! I mainly got the tuner because although I only bought the truck about 4 months ago with 58000 miles on it I quickly grew tried of the regen and smoke crap! But I do love the heck outta this truck and it's a totally different ride from the '98 GMC Z71 that I had. The wife and I bought a 40 foot 5th wheel camper so getting a stronger truck over the "city" truck was a must. I've learned so much already from this forum and look forward to you guys teaching me more. Sorry for the book but I thought it best to explain why I seem so dumb. lol Thanks in advance!!
If it was just from leaving the shop to getting on it, it wasn't your coolant temp. If it defueled during a hard acceleration, it was either your EGT or your Boost Defuel. I run very conservative Defuel settings.
sorry, yes typo...66,000 miles and to the other reply, I do intend on setting it at the lowest setting ( no power ) during towing and after playing with it either running in the same setting or one up which is mild... thanks for you guy's input.

Me personally, I run Hot Damn 300 in Hot all the time, seems like that gets the best mileage. When I tow, ill usually drop to mild.
