Pedal box bushings, or the spring on the pedal, or poss. where the lever arm attaches to the pushrod eyelet. Try this - gently touch the brake pedal with your right foot (no actual pressure), and work the clutch pedal with your left foot. If you feel any "feedback" on the brake pedal, those bushings in the pedal box are shot anyway.

Does anybody have a link to the ebay store where you can buy the heim joints for the clutch pedal? I was looking the other day, but didn't have any luck.

Thanks! Ordering now.

Edit: Lol, looks like Bill Hewitt even made an installation video for me. I wonder if I could talk him into putting it on for me while changing my HPOP oil.

Don't forget to put some Pro-Long in it....

Then again, if changing the oil in the HPO res is "overkill", so is the Heim joint. Cheap/easy/"no-surgery" solution is the drill stop collar on the lever arm, along with a bit of brass tubing to replace the cr@ptastic plastic bushing.

They aren't terrible except it is under dash work...wich for me sucks.if you have t-rex arms it will be no problem.

Yeh, but if you have T-Rex arms, usu. you don't have much arm _strength_. I have kinda small/weak arms, and holding up the weight of the pedal box to get it in just the right position to get the bolts/nuts started wasn't much fun.

But all in all, not complicated. Here's a thread on the procedure here on FTE: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...pic-heavy.html

...and one on, er, another site: Pedalbox Bushing Replacement - 1994-1997 Power Stroke FAQ

If they are worn and the pedalbox itself is not then new ones should repair any issue with pedal travel or clutch mc stroke. If the bushings aren't worn and just squeaking then just grease em up. Maybe some white lithium or something.
