Surging at idle 06
Hey guys, recently got my self a super duty and har a question.
My truck doesn't sound right to me when it's idling, almost like its surging back and forth. Kinda yo yo's at idle is a good way to explain it ( I hope lol)
Is this a sign of a bad injector? Or something else?
I'm brand new to the diesel game, everything is stock on my truck, no tune. Egr delete is done. I have a completed 66 Chevelle SS I completed so I consider my self pretty handy with a wrench playing with that thing for the last 8 years. Just a little background....

A simple transposition of the basic tests in the PC-ED manual for rolling idle on a 6.0L:
Have you changed the oil in the last 7500 miles? If not, replace with CJ-4 rated 5W40
If the oil level correct? If not, drain and refill the crankcase with ~15 quarts of new oil.
Is the air filter restricted (is the air filter minder popped)? If yes, replace the filter and reset the minder.
On the front of the passengers valve cover, pull the wiring connector from the ICP sensor and see if there's any oil on it. If there is, replace the sensor and wiring pigtail.
Does it have a factory oil filter cap? If no, replace with a factory cap and new filter.
