Your opinion- HORNS

Hey guys. I got a 96 f150 XLT 4x4... I know its all about what I like, but what do you think about having bull horns on the hood of the truck? Do you like it or no? Why?

Personally I think they look cool.

Thanks,
Mike

I have air horns installed under my truck but the previous owner is the one who installed everything just didn't have it wired up. They are fun for messing around but outside of that, they take up alot of space and personally i would never have them on my hood.

My bad. It comes down to opinion but I never would have it exposed.

I think it just looks like some goof ball bolted it on there to get a reaction out of people when I see it done. You will have to ruin a hood to mount them and if you try to sell it you will turn a lot of people off with those cheesy things bolted to her

If you do it right and think it through I think they can look cool. Not so much if they're just slapped on.

My buddy put them on his Chevy 1500. Made a flexible bracket from a plastic 55 gal drum, and he just hooks them onto the header panel by the hood latch. Stays put with hood closed, and no drillin into the hood.

When the OP is referring to these:

As for my opinion, I wouldn't put them on anything of mine.

Lol White Max, that's what I was thinkin bout some of the other posts. Was fixin to say something but since I have to post from my phone when I'm home (laptop dead) I don't like to go back and edit posts unless I have to because it's a pain on the phone.

I know which horns he meant, and yes my buddy did mount a set of cattle horns to his hood that way.

Me personally, if I had an old school front end (like a 79) then yeah I'd do it. Might even do it to my 96.
