I haven't broken a handle but a couple of years ago I noticed that it was getting more difficult to pull the handle. What I did was with the window down spray some lubricant on the latch mechanism inside the door rather than just the latch that can be seen when the door is open. It made a huge difference on the effort needed to pull the handle.

Great thread...I have to roll down my window and let myself out! The replacement seems to run 150 dollars for the cable's.

On a side note since we're talking about upgrades. Is there a thread here or a site of where I can get new dash panels. My tank switch is broke off, and my WTS light panel is also broke loose and hanges there. I think it's time to slowly start upgrading the interior. Any ideas other than finding them at the junkyard?
